HR policy

Our gender equality index reflects the structural reality of our sector, road freight transport, which has historically been predominantly male, particularly in driving and operational roles.
The predominance of men in these roles, which represent a significant proportion of our workforce and payroll, automatically impacts certain indicators in the index, particularly those related to pay gaps and promotions. This situation is part of a sectoral context in which the pool of female candidates remains limited in certain technical and field-based professions.
Aware of these challenges, we remain fully committed to gender diversity and professional equality. We are continuing our efforts to promote women’s access to all our professions, to guarantee equal pay for equivalent positions and skills, and to foster an inclusive working environment.

TRANSPORTS PORTMANN’s index for 2025 is incalculable. Here are the details of the calculations:

  • The gender pay gap. Score obtained: 35/40.
  • The gap in individual pay rises. Score obtained: 5/20.
  • The gap in promotion rates between women and men. Score obtained: UNCALCULABLE.
  • The percentage of female employees who received a pay rise in the year they returned from maternity leave. Score obtained: INCALCULABLE.
  • The number of employees of the under-represented gender among the 10 highest-paid employees. Score obtained: 0/10.

*The various indicators used to calculate the index may be uncalculable if:
– there are insufficient numbers of employees per age group and category
– no increases/promotions have been made
– there are not at least 5 women and 5 men in theworkforce
– no returns from maternity leave have taken place
=> if several indicators are uncalculable, the index may also become uncalculable.
